Full Charge Bookkeeper

Job Description

We are partnering with a well-established organization in the 80112 area to identify a Full-Charge Bookkeeper to oversee the company's day-to-day accounting operations. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable owning the full accounting cycle and can operate independently while supporting leadership with accurate financial reporting.

This is a hands-on opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys managing the full scope of accounting in a fast-paced environment.

This position is paying between $25/hr and $28/hr depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle accounting, including general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations
  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements
  • Handle payroll processing and ensure accuracy of employee records (if applicable)
  • Maintain and monitor cash flow and budgets
  • Prepare and submit sales and use tax filings

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of full-charge bookkeeping or accounting experience
  • Strong understanding of GAAP principles and full-cycle accounting
  • Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar required)
  • Proficiency in Excel (formulas, data organization)
  • Experience handling payroll and tax filings preferred
  • High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of accounting functions
